One of the most personal relationships you’ll build throughout an event / wedding planning process is with your planner. I’m not trying to be number one here, but it’s important that I learn a lot about you so that we can make sure your day is exactly how you envision it. So, here is a little bit about me! First and foremost, I could probably live off of charcuterie boards and wine. I live with my fiancé Mike, and we have three hilarious dogs. Even though they barf on our new floors and drive me nuts in my home office, they are the reason our house feels like a home. I love to be outside, explore new restaurants and cities, watch comedians on Instagram, listen to podcasts, and read a good book. My extroverted introvert self also loves a good binge-worthy show in my jammies so that I don’t have to talk to a soul. So, if you have recommendations for cool cities, great books, killer podcasts (literally, I love true crime), or a show to watch, we’ll probably hit it off.
My philosophy is that your event should be a reflection of you and your story. There are planners out there that make the process feel like a stark checklist or put you in a mold. Guess what? This is not a one-size fits all situation. It is an experience, and I want you to enjoy the process just as much as you enjoy the outcome.
I learned from the best in Charleston, SC where I interned with an elite event planner. After some time in the "real world," I couldn't get the business out of my head. I began Honey Dew Events in 2017 and departed my time in the corporate world in 2019 after five years as a college admissions counselor. This is my full time gig, people! And, I couldn't be more thrilled.
